APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— Frederick W. Sluter, false pretences, has been arrested by the Wellington police. His correct name is Frederick William Schluter. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 709, and 1918, page 2, and following paragraph.)

Newmarket.— John Brown Peter, deserting from Expeditionary Force : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 7.)

Fkatherston. — Frederick William Wells, failing to notify change of address, has been arrested on another charge by the Wellington police. His correct name is Frederick William Schluter. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 502, and preceding paragraph.)

Otaki.— John George Orr, false pretences, has been arrested by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 724.)

Masterton. — John Hennessy, failing to notify change of address: No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 366.)

Upper Hutt. — Daniel Hay, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Denniston police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 614.)

Wellington. — Donald McDonald, deserting from Expeditionary Force, Las been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 574.)

Wellington.— Bernard McKenna, alias Bernard Mitchell McKenna, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 572.)

Wellington. — James Hamilton Murphy, theft, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. He had assumed the name Percy Holmes. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 724.)

Taranaki Street (Wellington). John Augustus Jeans, missing, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 6.)

Taranaki Street (Wellington).— Walter Gilmour Thomson, deserting from Expeditionary Force : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 490.)

Seddonvillk. — William Sutherland, deserting; from Expeditionary Force : Warrant cancelled, (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 504.)

Christchurch. — Frederick George Frost, failing to maintain : Summons withdrawn. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 432.)

Christchurch. Hilda Koberstein, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Rongotea police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 502.)

Kumara. William Wharton McConnon, alias William Walton McConnon, alias William McConnon, inquiry for failing to notify change of address and deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been located by the Featherston police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, pages 178, 324, and 464.)
