DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.

From the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. New Plymouth. rant for failing to parade for medical examination, John William McSwain, age thirty-seven, height 6 ft. in.

Strateord. — 24th July last, while en route to Featherston Camp, Edward King, alias Edward Kindberg, age thirty-one, height sft. 11 in., labourer, fair hair and complexion, blue eyes.

Dannevirke. —4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, George Noah Bashford, age about twenty-three, height about 5 ft. in., labourer, slim build, fresh complexion, brown hair, biue eyes, long thin nose, small feet; dressed in a dark suit and oap.

Martinborugh. —4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Riley, age thirty-seven, height 5 ft. 3 in., labourer and fireman, native of England, medium build, sallow complexion, brown hair.

Upper Hutt. —lsth July last, from Trentham Camp, H. G. Campbell, age forty-five, height 5 ft. 6|in., labourer, native of New Zealand, ruddy complexion, brown hair, blue eyes. Next-of-kin, Miss E. Campbell (sister), 46 Meldille Street, Dunedin. He was last employed on the Wilden Estate, Heriot.

Wellington.— 26th July last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Sidney Beck, age twentyseven, height 5 ft. 8 in., bread-carter, native of England, strong build, ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes.

Wellington. —2Bth June last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Harry Wilson, age twentyseven, height 5 ft. 7in., labourer and freezing-works hand, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion, brown hair, blue-grey eyes.

Wellington. —22nd ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Arthur Brown, age thirty-two, height 5 ft. 10in., labourer, slim build, dark complexion, brown hair, blue eyes.

Wellington. —22nd ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Patrick Murphy, age twentyseven, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of Ireland, strong build, ruddy complexion, dark hair, blue eyes.

Picton. —4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medioal examination, William Henry Smith, age about forty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., farm labourer, strong build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes; usually dressed in a grey suit and soft-felt hat.

Nelson. —4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Robert Webb, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 4 in., fireman, native of England.

Kurow. —4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Albert Edwards, age about twenty-eight, height about 5 ft. 7 in., farm hand, medium build, fair hair and complexion.
