(From New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 1327.) Regulations (Amended) for Deer-shooting, Lakes District Acclimatization District. LIVERPOOL, Governor. WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, made under the Animals Protection Act, 1908, regulations were made prescribing the deer-shooting season in the Lakes District Acclimatization District: And whereas it is expedient to amend the said regulations as hereinafter mentioned: Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the said Animals Protection Act, 1908, do hereby amend the First and Third Schedules thereof by substituting Matukituki in lieu of Makaroro. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen. G. W. RUSSELL, Minister of Internal Affairs.
