Melbourne.— Timothy Whelan, maliciously setting fire to a dwellinghouse: It has been ascertained by the Auckland (New Zealand) police that accused left Auckland for Vancouver by the R.M.S. “Niagara” on 23rd January last. (See New Zealand Police Gazette, 1917, page 130.) (P. 17/258.)
