SPECIAL INQUIRY.
Auckland.—At 8.80 a.m. on the Bth instant the dead body of a male child was found floating in the Auckland Harbour. A post-mortem examination of the body revealed the fact that the child was fully developed, and had been still-born about twenty-four hours previously. Inquiries are to be made with a view to discovering the mother of the child, and also the person by whom the body T was placed in the harbour. Any information regarding this matter is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Auckland.
