APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. Owen McCabe, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 536.)

Auckland.— Hugh James Collins, failing to provide for unborn illegitimate child, has been arrested by the Mokau police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 567.)

Papakura.— William Stanley Johnston, missing, has been located by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 588.)

Matiere. — Bradford Hotchkiss, wanted as a witness : No further inquiry necessary. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 620.)

Te Awamutu. — Peter McDonagh, breach of prohibition order, has been served with a summons by the Te Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 600.)

Napier.— John Pekin, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Mercer police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 105.)

Taihape.— David William Pearson, breach of Public Health Act, has been served with a notice of fine by the Taihape police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 568.)

Wellington. — John Pearson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Wellington South police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 554.)

Wellington. — Thomas McNamara, attempted buggery, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 620.)

Wellington.— Henry Edward Ash, ship-desertion, has been arrested by the Mount Cook (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 600.)

Wellington. Samuel Frank Chiles, absconding from the Boys’ Training Farm, Nelson, has been arrested by the Ongarue police. He had assumed the name Frank Chiles Andersen. (See Police Gazette , 1916, page 602.)

Wellington. — Thomas Driscoll, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Shannon police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 620.)

Taranaki Street (Wellington).— Archibald West, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Feilding police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 328.)

Blenheim.— James Sands, obscene language, has been arrested by the Blenheim police. He had assumed the name Harry Mason. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 322.)

Blenheim.— J. G. Birch, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 460.)

Christchurch. — Charles Edward Johnston, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Maungaturoto police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 600.)
