APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— Cecil Ferguson, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 374.)

Auckland. Charles Stanley Dunfoy, failing to maintain, has joined the reinforcements, and is now maintaining his children. No further action is to be taken in regard to the warrant. (Se 6 Police Gazette, 1915, page 490.)

Te Aroha. — Joseph Basil Neary, obscene language, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 189.)

Hamilton. — Arthur Marriott, default of maintenance* has been arrested by the Taumarunui police. (See Police Gazette, 1912, pages 614 and 677.)

Te Awamutu.— Darcy Knight, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Te Awamutu police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 281.)

Gisborne.— Frank Oates, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Ormondville police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 642.)

Napier.— Henry Lorigan, alias Thomas Burke, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 642.)

Napier.— M. F. La net, assault, has been arrested by the Hastings police on another charge. His correct name is William Frank Jones. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 3),

Upper Hutt. — William George Haines, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Eastbourne poiice. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 304.)

Wellington.— Arthur Gorham, alias Henderson, alias Archibald Anderson, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 374.)

Mount Cook (Wellington).— Lilly Campbell, missing, has been located, and is now in St. Mary’s Anglican Home, Karori. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 414.)

Picton. — William Goodwin, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. He is identical with Patrick Goodwin, referred to in New South Wales Photographs, volume 59, page 96. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 412 )

Nelson. — Margaret Leone, default of maintenance, has been located by the Foxton police. She has assumed the name Rhodes. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 178.)

Christchurch. — Robert Stewart Nixon, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 472.)

Lincoln.— Hikito Nehetapango, absconding from Burnham, has been arrested by the Wellington and Featherston police, He had assumed the name William Emery. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 877.)

Waimate,— John Samuel Kirkman, default of fine and costs, has been located by the Featherston police. No further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 204.)

Dunedin. — Thomas Bourne, ship-desertion : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 792.)

Sydney.— Harold Yincent Harvey, alias Harold Vincent, alias Harold Yincent Wade, alias Harris, nquired for ; It has been ascertained by the Wellington police that he is living at 35 Mary Street, Hobart. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 339.) (C.R. 16/184.)
