VOLKMANN, 2307 Broadway Street, which was stolen on the 3.lst December, 1914: A diamond bowknot breast-pin, all platinum mounting, open work between, solid mounted edges, scratch-marked “No. 543,” containing 238 diamonds ; a string of pearls (necklace) with diamond snap, scratch-marked “No. 4513,” containing thirty diamonds and 111 pearls; a diamond bow-knot breast-pind a diamond brooch, No. 665, containing two pear-shape; diamonds and eighty-four other diamonds; a star-shaped breast-pin, large ruby set in centre surrounded by small diamonds, the latter again surrounded with small rubies, ihe edge of pin also set with small diamonds ; a lady’s gold ring, large pearl in centre with a diamond on each side, also three or more very small diamonds projecting from pearl in opposite direction; a pair of earrings, No. 7929, containing two rubies and twenty diamonds, changed later from screws to earrings, the extensions set with a number of small diamonds; a platinum lorgnette, handle 4 in. to 5 in. long, and platinum chain about 4ft. long; a platinum necklace about 18 in. long, with a large diamond set in the front, with two short platinum chains, 1 in. in length, hanging from same, with a diamond set in the end and one in the centre ; a gold pin the shape of the letters S and B put together, the S being set with diamonds and the B with rubies; a lady’s open-face black-enamel watch, No. 8317, case 14 ct. gold, No. 904133, Longines movement, No. 904129, hung on black-enamel bow-knot-shaped pin ; a lady’s openface watch, No. 10739, case 18ct. gold, No. 226535, set with diamond, Patek, Phillipe, and Co. movement, No. 116269; a set of pearl cuff-buttons; a set of small cuff-buttons ; a orescent-shaped gold breast-pin, set with small pearls; a harvest-moon brooch, No. 10694, containing twenty-five pearls; a pearl guard-chain, No. 6101, containing fourteen pearls; and a<long fine-linked watch-chain, about 4ft. long, with fourteen pearls, set about Sin. or 4 in. apart.
