MISSING.
Gisborne.— Since July last, that she may be induced to return to her home, Nellie Hindrup, age seventeen, height about 5 ft. 6 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, stout build, brown eyes, auburn hair, boil-mark on right side of nose; quiet manner; weight about 9 stone 101 b. She is probably in company with George Rowlands, who is referred to in Police Gazette, 1914, page 547. Inquiry by her mother, Emily Mary Hindrup, Mangapapa.
Napier.— Since about eight years ago, John Buchanan, age thirty, height 5 ft. 11 in., station hand, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes. He was a member of the 7th South African Contingent, and was known as “Fighting Jock.” His photograph is filed in the Inspector’s Office, Napier, and
also appears in the New South Wales Police Gazette, 1914, page 518. Inquiry by his sister, Miss Belle Buchanan, care of J. R. Kirk, solicitor, Gisborne, who wishes to ascertain his whereabouts owing to a family law case which is pending, and which involves a considerable sum of money.
