Newmarket. —sih May last, from a stable in Carlton Gore Road, a carriage-lamp (identifiable) and 2J bushels of oats, value 165., the property of the AUCKLAND FARMERS’ MILK SUPPLY COMPANY ; a brown-tweed coat with dark stripe, value £3 (identifiable), the property of CHARLES MoMAHON ; and a dark-tweed overcoat, torn near the bottom, value £1 (identifiable), the property of M. NUGENT.

Paeroa. —About 3rd instant, from the back of Wright’s shop, the property of ROBERT STYLES, Belmont Road, a gentleman’s black-enamelled free-wheel Hauraki bicycle, No, 696, B.S.A. fittings, nickel-plated rims, Kelly handle-bars, Brooks saddle JNo. 90, back-pedalling brake, rat-trap pedals, mud guards on both wheels : value £B. Identifiable.

Rotorua. —Between sth and 7th instants, from Devonshire House, the property of CAPTAIN GEORGE PRICTER, a single-breasted khaki military overcoat, with brown bone buttons, lined with dark flannel with a red stripe, “ Burbury ” and “ made specially for Worth, Johannesburg,” on inside, small burn-mark between the shoulders, stains on right side ; and a grey knitted woollen scarf: total value, £6. Identifiable.

Rotorua. —About 20th ultimo, from a tent, the property of GEORGE DITMER, a dark-grey-tweed sac suit, low-cot coat with a slit in the back, two outside pockets with flaps, the trousers having turned-up bottoms; a black-ribbon watch-guard, with gold shield in centre and “ G.D.” on it; and a patent spring match-box : total value, £7 ss. Identifiable.

Gisborne. HERBERT JAMES GRIEVE’S jewellery stolen: It has now been ascertained by the Gisborne police that the numbers supplh d to them are tnose of the ladies’ gold “ Baume ” watches. (See Police Gazette , 1914, pages 398, 412, 427, and 443.)

New Plymouth.— 3rd instant, from a bedroom in the Imperial Hotel, the property of SYDNEY TAPP, a silver Rotherhams hunting-watch, three scratches on the inside of case; a 9ct. gold curb watch-chain (similar to illustration No. 15 in Police Gazette, 1911, pige 2), with a bat-shaned gr enstone pendant attached ; and an 18 ct. g Id band ring, set with three brown - coloured stones: total value, £l2. Identifiable.

Mangatatnoka. —6h instant, from the dwelling of SAUAtI COWAN, a lady’s blark leather handbag, containing a purse with five sovereigns, two £1 Bank of New Zealand no'es, and about 14s in money in it ; two or three ladies’ ha dkerehiefs ; and some receipts : total value, £B. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about twenty-five, height about sft. 7in., slight build, pale complexion, dark hair; dressed in dark-blue suit and cap. He carried a memo randum-book in his pocket, and may be identical with the man suspected of committing a similar offence referred to in Police Gazette, 1914, page 428.

Christchurch. —About 10th instant the office of CHARLES HENRY WINNY, 119 St. Asaph Street, was broken into, and the following property stolen therefrom : £l9 9s. sd. in money (not recovered), and cheques valued at £6 17s. 6d. (recovered, except a cheque for £2 9s. drawn on the National Bank of New Zealand, Christchurch) ; total value, £25 6s. lid. Cheque only identifiable. Suspicion is attacned to George Henry Clarkson, labourer, native of New Zealand, age Gwenty-seven, height 5 ft. in., medium build, dark complexion and hair, blue eyes, scar near right eye and on right hand; fond of drink. Christchurch. About 23rd ultimo, FREDERICK HENRY SEMMENS’S shop was broken into, and a pair of gentleman’s boots (a patch on the side of the right boot) stolen therefrom ; value, ss. Identifiable.

Methven. —About 26th instant, from a storeroom in the Methven Hotel, the property of TIMOTHY TWOMEY, twelve oases of whisky and brandy (“ D.0.L.” “ Walkers,” and “Teachers” brands of whisky, “ Tlnee-star ” and “ MerT.T, moot ” brands of brandy), on cases, and a quantity of cigarettes and cigars; total value, £3O. Spirit cases only identifiable. (Two cases of whisky and one of brandy have been recovered.) Suspicion is attached to Frank Watson, Albert Head, and George Dore. Description : First, age tnirty-nine, height 5 ft. 9 in. fish-hawker, nativeof New Zealand, medium build, fresh omplexion, brown hair turning grey, grey eyes, clean-shaved ; second, age forty, height 5 ft. 10io,, barman, native of New Zealand, slim build, sallow complexion, dark hair and ejes, brown moustache; t fil'd, age forty-two, height 5 ft. 6 in., carrier, native of New Zealand, medium build, pale complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes, clean-shaved.

Hampden. About 4th instant the premises of COLONEL J. 0.
