Photograph of an Australian Criminal who is wanted on warrant at Melbourne, Victoria, for receiving stolen property, and for whose apprehension the Victorian Government offer a reward of £25.
Native of Scotland, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 2Jin., brown hair, blue eyes; wore grey clothes and a soft hat. Accused was on bail to appear at the City Court, Melbourne, on 28th January last, but absconded. It appears reasonably certain that he came to this Dominion under an assumed name, and was accompanied by his wife and two boys aged twelve and ten respectively. He will probably carry on a small fruit or grocery business. While in Melbourne he was receiving stolen property of every description in a wholesale manner from youths. Diligent and special inquiry is to be made with a view to his arrest. (See Police Gazette, 1913, pages 180, 236, and 382.) (C.R. 13/119.) 7 o 9 7s
