PROPERTY STOLEN.

Ohaeawai. —On or about the 19th ultimo, from the farm of SAMUEL RADOIKOVICH, farmer, Waimate North, a red steer, three years and a half old, with turned-down horns ; a Hereford steer, three years and a half old; and a roan steer, three years old. All ear-marked—right ear, halfmoon on top, left ear, two half-moons, one on top and the other on bottom : total value, £24. Identifiable.

Warkworth. —12th instant, the property of WILSON’S PORTLAND CEMENT COMPANY, a spirit level, Ift. long, with small Dole in one end; a spade with three notches on handle; and an axe: total value, lla. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached' to Joseph Baker, age about forty-five, height sft. 8 in., labourer, supposed native of New Zealand, medium build, aark complexiou, blue eyes, hair turning grey; fond of drink; dressed in old grey suit and cap. Suspect was employed by the company, and was using the tools up to the time he left their employ.

Ponsonby.— 31st January last, from the music-room at St. Mary’s Convent, New Stnet, the property of SISTER MARY URSULA, a “ Strad ” violin, small chip out of left side, light colour, ticket inside dated 1819 ; a black violin-case, with imitation-leather case ; and two bows . total value, £6. Identifiable.

Auckland. —13th instant; from the Tiffin Tea-rooms, Queen Street, the property of HARRY BALL, dairyman, Symonds S reet a gentlemen’s umbrella, crook handle, “H. 8.” on silver band ; value, £l. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —13th instant, from the premises of PAT CUKRAN, mechanic, 13 Fitzgerald Avenue, a 3£-horse-power Triumph motor-bicycle, 1909 model, free engine, No. 151543, No. on frame 766-*, registered No. C 844, steel rimsand mud-guards, free wheel, liyman lamp and generator ; value, £SO. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —l7th January last, from the tramwaysheds, the property of LAWRENCE HENRY LOGAN, 34 Park Road, Addington, a gentlemen’s Royal Superb Swift bicycle, N0. : 17920 and 1500485, black-enamelled, steel rims, rubber pedals, reversible outrigger handles, fixed wheel, Dunlop tires, steel mud guards ; value, £l2. Identifiable.
