From H.M.S. “ Drake .” Auckland. Walter Theophilus Farthing, age thirty, height 5 ft. 8 in., private Royal Marines, native of England, thin erect build, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, high forehead, small nose, thin lips. Absent from 26th ultimo. A reward of £5 will be paid for his apprehension.
From H.M.S. “Penguin.” Sydney. — William James Catherwood, age twentytwo, height 5 ft. 6 in., thin ereot build, labourer and marine engineer, light-brown hair, brown eyes, large nose, open mouth, long smiling face, very fair slight moustache, small bony protuberance on shin-bone, scar on right index finger, tattooing on left hand. Absconded 23rd ultimo. A reward of £5 will be paid for his apprehension.
