Auckland. "Violet May O’Mera, absconding from industrial school, is married and living in Auckland. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 440.)

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). John Albert Woods, ship - desertion, has been arrested by Sergeant Boweil, Queen Street Wharf police, and sentenced to fourteen days. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 559.)

Gisborne. — John Hardy Blair has been found at Matawai by the Te Karaka police, and has communicated with his parents. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 297.)

Dannevirke. —John Sharpe, indecent language, has been arrested by Constable Johns, Karamea police. (See Police Gazette , 1912, page 218.)

Eketahuna.— John Patrick Connolly, deserting his illegitimate children: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 147, and 1912, page 339.)

Palmerston North. — John Meade has been served with a notice of fine by District Constable Morgan, Herbertville police, on information supplied by Constable Potter, Dannevirke police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 548.)

Wellington. —Gertrude McAndrew, nee Sims, default of maintenance, was arrested at Adelaide for having insufficient lawful means of support on the 31st ultimo, and was taken to the Adelaide Hospital, where she died the following morning. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 424, and 1911, page 492.)

Lyttelton. — Charles West, ship-desertion, has been arrested by Constable Almond, Port Chalmers police, and sentenced to seven days. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 528.)

Wellington.— Thomas Patrick Drury, wife-deser-tion, has been arrested by Detective-Sergeant Mcllveney and Detective Bailey, Wellington police. He was going under the name of Griffiths. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 614.)

Greymouth. — James or Jeff Barlow, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable O’Neill, New Plymouth polioe, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 538.)

Bingsland.— Alfred E. Smith, alias Arthur Watson, has returned to his home. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 107.)

Timaru. — Alice Parker, default of maintenance, has been located at Wellington by Constable McKelvey, Clyde Quay police, on information supplied by the Timaru police, and has promised to pay off the arrears due. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 383.)

Dunedin. Henry Dowling Latimer, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable McGregor, Oamaru police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 600.)

Dunedin. — Michael Ambrose Buckley, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable Henderson, Lumsden police, and fine paid. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 528.)

Dunedin. — Mary Ann McDowell, default of main tenance, is now a patient in the Sunnyside Mental Hospital, Christchurch. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 421.)

Green Island.— Alexander Smith, alias George Matheson, theft, was arrested by Constable Dark, South Dunedin police, and was brought before the Court at Dunedin and remanded. He escaped from the Presbyterian Orphanage, Dunedin, and was again arrested by Constable Bosworth, and committed to Burnham Industrial School. (See Police Gazette, 1912, pages 352 and 614.)

Sydney.- Samuel J. Murch, naval deserter, has been arrested at Melbourne. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 27.)

Melbourne. — Stanley Gordon, naval deserter, has been arrested at Geelong. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 560.)

Melbourne. — James Frederick Aitken, naval deserter, has been arrested at Geelong. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 592.)

Sydney. — George Philip Phillips, naval deserter, has been arrested at Adelaide. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 586.)
