APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Freeman’s Bay. — David Thomas Morgan, default of maintenance, has been located by Constable Henderson, Gisborne police; but, as complainant is dead, he is not now wanted. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 29.)

Napier. — W. F. Thomas, theft, has been arrested by Detective-Sergeant Campbell, Greymouth police, on information supplied by Acting-Detecoive Mason, Wellington police, and sentenced to six months cumulative with six months received on three charges of theft at Greymouth. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 282.) He is identical with William Jones, alias George Thomas. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 479, 1910, page 542, and 1911, pages 249 aud 563.)

Eltham. — Duncan Grant May, default of fine : The amount has been paid into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 132.)

Wellington.— George Honer and Harry Stovim Wood, ship-desertion, have been arrested by Acting-Detec-tive Mason, Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 120.)

Wellington. — Robert Barley, ship - desertion : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 590.)

Wellington.— James George Andrews, ship-deser-tion: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 590.)

Christchurch Phillip Henry Collins Merryweather, missing friend, has been located by Constable Dempsey, Wellington police, and is now in Wellington. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 232.)

Christchurch. —Robert Connolly, disobeying order of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Pool, Christchurch police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 538.)

Lyttelton. — Joseph McLean, ship-desertion, has been arrested by Acting-Detective Mason, Wellington police, on information supplied by Acting-Detective Carney, Lyttelton police. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 282.)

Geraldine. Clarence Frederick Dyer, missing friend, has written to his mother from Christchurch. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 285.)

Lincoln. — John Douglas Stark, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by Detective A. Cameron and Acting-Detective Carroll, Invercargill police, and returned to the school. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 272.)

Lyttelton.— John Ramsden, deserter from H.M.S. “Powerful,” has been arrested by Constable Nixon, Greymouth police, and discharged as he produced papers showing that he was dealt with for tii9 offence in England. (See Police Gazette, 1906, pages 83 and 91.)

Bluff. — James Burtenshaw, failing to support wife, has been arrested by Sergeant Forster and Constable Oarmody, Petone police, on information supplied by Detective Cameron, Invercargill police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 283.)
