Auckland. —Since 16th ultimo, Hazel Hendry, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 5 in., shop-assistant, native of New Zealand, thin build, fresh complexion, brown wavy hair, blue eyes, limps slightly ; dressed in striped dark-tweed costume and black hat, and will probably be in company with a girl named Mercy Nelson. Inquiry by her father.

Paeroa.— Since 16th ultimo, William Andrew Clarke, alias Ponto Clarke, age thirty-seven, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer and miner, native of New Zealand, thick-set build, clean-shaved, crown and ship tattooed on right arm, mole on centre of forehead, black curly hair turning grey, blue eyes, short teeth (broken in front) ; dark-blue suit, dark-grey felt hat, and soft green-coloured shirt. Inquiry by his wife.

Otaki.— Since 6th instant, Stanley James Beattie, age forty, height 5 ft. 11 in., native of New Zealand, farmmanager, medium build, erect gait, dark complexion, dark hair turning grey, clean-shaved, rather small eyes, right hand has been broken and appears as if deformed ; when last seen was wearing grey-tweed riding-pants, light-tweed vest, no coat, grey shirt, and grey-felt slouch hat, was carrying an opossum rug, gun, and bag containing food. Ha managed a farm for Mrs. Bradlee at Manakau, and is said to have lived beyond his means. Inquiry by Mrs. Bradlee.

Invercargill. —Since the 11th ultimo, Annie Phillipson, nee Buchols, age twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 6 in., native of New Zealand, stout build, dark hair, brown eyes, very few teeth, dark complexion ; dark dress, large light-blue hat with blue flowers. Photograph filed in the Inspector’s Office, Invercargill. She left her home at Timpany’s Siding, accompanied by Patrick Hofen. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 138 and 377.)
