From H.M.S. “ Pioneer.” Lyttelton. — William Buchan Barlow, age twentyone, height 5 ft. 7f in., seaman, native of New Zealand, medium build, black hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion, teeth recently extracted. Deserted 23rd ultimo. A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.

From H.M.S. “ Challenger.” Lyttelton. — Walter M. Holland, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 6Jin., stoker, native of Australia, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, ace of clubs and crossed flags on left forearm, pierced heart on right forearm. Deserted Bth ultimo. Arthur R. S. Sowter, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 6Jin., stoker, native of South Australia, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, scar on left arm. Deserted 10th ultimo. Frederick W. Wells, age twenty, height 5 ft. 5 in., seaman, native of Middlesex, England, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, scar on left arm. Deserted sth ultimo. Frederick C. M.S. “ Toreh.” Sydney. —James Brown, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. lin., A. 8., native of Scotland, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, two butterflies and birds on chest, cross and star on right forearm, Japanese woman on left forearm, flower-pot on each foot, and eyes on hips. Deserted 15th ultimo. A reward of £3 will be paid for his apprehension.
