Ohaeawai.— On or about Bth December last, from Waitangi Valley, the property of KAIEWAI APERHAMA, a half-bred spotted Jersey cow, bob tail, top of! right ear and half-moon cut out of the bottom of right ear, “ V ” cut out of left ear; a yearling red heifer, a red heifer (three years old), and a roan heifer, all having similar earmarks : value, £2B. Ormondville. —Between 28th December last and 4th ultimo, from the dwelling of ELIZABETH HOBSON, a half-hoop 18 ct. gold engagement - ring, set with seven diamonds (one missing), value £ls ; a gold dress-ring, set with a ruby in centre and about four pearls, value £5. Identifiable.

Mokau. —Between 3rd and 6th instant, from the farm of DOUGLAS BLACK, butcher, a double-barrelled breechloading gun, “ S. Luke ” scratched on plate on side, one of the screws of butt plate has been broken ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— 26th ultimo, from the cycle-rack at the railway-station, the property of Messrs. CRADDOCK AND CO. (LIMITED), St. Asaph Street, a gentlemen’s RudgeWhitworth free-wheel bicycle, No. 4975, black-enamelled frame, upturned handles, front roller brake, rubber pedals, beaded tires ; value, £5. NELSON, school-teacher, a gentlemen’s B.S.A. bicycle black-enamelled 22 in. frame, Reynold’s chain, Britannia tire on front wheel, New Departure hub, upturned handles, two-speed gear, shield with owner’s name thereon on head of bicyole ; value, £l2. Christchurch. 29th ultimo, the hut of THOMAS KANE, Opawa, was broken into, and the following stolen: A gentlemen’s silver open-faoed English lever watch, maker Stewart Dawson, No. 231064, value £5 ; also five sovereigns and ten shillings in silver. Watch identifiable.

HORWELL, shepherd, a gentlemen’s B.S.A. free-wheel Reliance bicycle, No. 457, black-enamelled frame, celluloid mud-guards (front one split), upturned handles with black grips, hub-brake ; value, £l2 10s.
