PROPERTY STOLEN.

Ohaeawai.— On or about Bth December last, from Waitangi Valley, the property of KAIEWAI APERHAMA, a half-bred spotted Jersey cow, bob tail, top of! right ear and half-moon cut out of the bottom of right ear, “ V ” cut out of left ear; a yearling red heifer, a red heifer (three years old), and a roan heifer, all having similar earmarks : value, £2B. Identifiable.

Auckland. —sth ultimo, from SKEATES AND WHITE, bicycle-importers, a second-hand black-enamelled Wanderer bicycle, “ No. 249 ” on the frame under the saddle, rubber pedals, rim-brakes, black mud-guards; value, £5 10s. On the above date a man giving the name of G. Hart (probably fictitious) hired the bicycle for an hour, and has not been seen since. Description : Age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 7 in. or Bin., medium build, dark complexion and hair, cleanshaved ; dressed in light-coloured tweed trousers, black coat and vest, and hard hat pulled down over his eyes.

Auckland. —On or about the 23rd ultimo, from JAMES O’NIEL, labourer, Maungaturoto, while under the inflence of liquor, a gentlemen’s new silver open-faced English lever watcb, No. 433816; a gold curb chain; and two or three sovereigns : value, £7 ss.

Auckland. —3oth November last, from the bedroom of EVELYN O’NEILL, housemaid, No. 84 Wellesley Street, a 9ct. gold necklace with very fine links, a round pendant attached about the size of a half-crown containing the photograph of complainant and another young woman; value, about £2. Identifiable.

Auckland. — 30th ultimo, from the Auckland Domain, the property of the AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL, a grey pony, scar on one knee ; value, £2O. Identifiable.

Napier. —l9th ultimo, from the lavatory of the Napier Club, the property of KINROSS WHITE, merchant, a gold pin set with a diamond, attached by an old-fashioned chain to a small gold pin set with a sapphire (claw setting); value, £ls. Identifiable,

Napier.— 9th December last, from the premises of McGlashan’s auction-mart, the property of WALTER GEORGE GIRLING, storeman, a gentlemen’s English Rotherham hunting-watch, value £1 15s. ; a nickel chain attached, value 2s. 6d. ; a 9ct. gold medal attached to the chain, “W. G.” engraved thereon, value £1 ss. Identifiable.

Napier. — 11th ultimo, from Tennyson Street, the property of WILLIAM STONE, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled B.S.A. bicycle in fairly good condition, No. 106766, backpedalling brake, black grips, mud-guards on wheels, tool-bag, oil-lamp, and bell attached, new Britannia tire on back wheel; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Ormondville. —Between 28th December last and 4th ultimo, from the dwelling of ELIZABETH HOBSON, a half-hoop 18 ct. gold engagement - ring, set with seven diamonds (one missing), value £ls ; a gold dress-ring, set with a ruby in centre and about four pearls, value £5. Identifiable.

Mokau. —Between 3rd and 6th instant, from the farm of DOUGLAS BLACK, butcher, a double-barrelled breechloading gun, “ S. Luke ” scratched on plate on side, one of the screws of butt plate has been broken ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— 26th ultimo, from the cycle-rack at the railway-station, the property of Messrs. CRADDOCK AND CO. (LIMITED), St. Asaph Street, a gentlemen’s RudgeWhitworth free-wheel bicycle, No. 4975, black-enamelled frame, upturned handles, front roller brake, rubber pedals, beaded tires ; value, £5. Identifiaole.

Christchurch. 26th December last, from the Christchurch Railway - station, the property of PERCY S. NELSON, school-teacher, a gentlemen’s B.S.A. bicycle black-enamelled 22 in. frame, Reynold’s chain, Britannia tire on front wheel, New Departure hub, upturned handles, two-speed gear, shield with owner’s name thereon on head of bicyole ; value, £l2. Identifiable.

Christchurch. 29th ultimo, the hut of THOMAS KANE, Opawa, was broken into, and the following stolen: A gentlemen’s silver open-faoed English lever watch, maker Stewart Dawson, No. 231064, value £5 ; also five sovereigns and ten shillings in silver. Watch identifiable.

Christchurch. 29th ultimo, from the Royal George Hotel, the property of THOMAS HENRY BARKLE, carter, a gentlemen’s Peirce bicycle, No. T. 149 T., blackenamelled frame, plated rims, fixed wheel, no brakes, curved handles, white grips ; value, £B. Identifiable.

Christchurch.— 24th ultimo, from the stables at Addington Sale-yards, the property of B. HORWELL, shepherd, a gentlemen’s B.S.A. free-wheel Reliance bicycle, No. 457, black-enamelled frame, celluloid mud-guards (front one split), upturned handles with black grips, hub-brake ; value, £l2 10s. Identifiable.

Addington. —22nd ultimo, from the dwelling of GEORGE CLACK, labourer, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Swift bicycle, 22 in. frame, fixed wheel, straight handles, rat-trap pedals, the pillow of saddle has been spliced ; value, £4. Identifiable.

Methven.— Between 26th and 27th ultimo, from the farm of DONALD McLEAN, four fat heifers, between two and three years old, branded “M” on rump, may have other brands on them ; value, £36. Identifiable.
