MISSING.
Dannevirke. —Since 24th April last, Charles Strong, age twenty-three, height 6 ft. 2 in., miner and labourer, native of England, strong build, fair complexion, lightbrown hair, grey eyes, teeth decayed, medium nose, large scar on left arm. He was last heard of at No. 40 Wellington Street, Auckland. Inquiry by his mother, Ada E. Strong, Dannevirke.
Christchurch. —Since 29th ultimo, William Varcoe, age fifty-six, height sft. Sin., labourer, native of England, olean-shaved except moustache turning white, pale complexion, grey hair and eyes ; dressed in dark suit. He had a bicycle with him, and two coats and an overcoat tied up in a bundle. Inquiry by Thomas Skew, No. 222 Peterborough Street, Christchurch.
