PROPERTY RECOVERED.
Christchurch. WILLIAM SPROULE’S bicycle has been recovered, and Frederick Robert Rose arrested for the offence by Detectives Ward and Miller, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 193.)
King Street (Dunedin).— GEOßGE TILBURY’S ladies’ gold hunting keyless watch has been recovered by Detective D. Connolly, Dunedin police. It was pledged at the Union Pawn Office, Dunedin, by Dave Marshall (probably fictitious), age about twenty-five, height 5 ft. 8 in., slim build, dark complexion, clean-shaved; dressed in dark-brown overcoat and black hard hat. No warrant. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 275.)
