APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. John James McKinnon, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Sergeant Rowell, Auckland police, and discharged. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 97.)

Auckland. Alfred alias Joseph Hair, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable J. Hitchcock, Taikape police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 483.)

Hamilton. George Shaw, forgery, has been arrested by Constables O’Reilly and Holland, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 77.)

Dannevieke. — Edward Franklin, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Detective D. Connolly, Gisborne police, on information supplied by Constable Potter, Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 78.)

Mastebton. Garioch Davidson, alias George Davidson, disobeying order of Court, has been arrested by Constables Skinner and Quirk, Tauranga police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 424.)

Wellington. — John Symons, deserter from the s.s, “ Turakina ” surrendered himself to the Wellington police, (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 78.)

Christchurch.— Harry Staunton, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 46.)

Geraldine. — William Edwards, default of fine : Warrant executed by Acting-Detectives Snow and Osborne, Christchurch police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 274). Offender is identical with William James Edwards. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 76.)

Ashburton.— Stewart Wright Buchanan, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Reed, on information supplied by Constable J. J. O’Grady, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 346.)

Waikouaiti. — Walter Allan, absconder from industrial school, has been arrested by Constable Patterson, Middlemarch police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 90.)

Oamaru. — Charles Munsey, missing friend, has been found by Constable J. J. O’Grady, at Eairfield Freezingworks, and his father informed. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 80.)

Dunedin.— George Thomas Sherwood, wanted for wife-desertion : It has been ascertained by Constable Demp sey, Wellington police, that William Sherwood, who died at the Wellington Hospital on the sth instant, is identical with offender. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 181.)

Dunedin. Philip Reeder, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable D. M. Mackenzie, Owaka police, on information supplied by Constable G. Heard, Caversham police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 386.)
