ABSCONDING FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHOOLS.

Lincoln. —25th December last, from licensed service with L. J. Brocherie, farmer, Hughey Richard Arthur Thomas Hollis, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, large scar on side of head ; dressed in darktweed sac suit and lace-up boots. He may have with him a gentlemen’s Raleigh bicycle, No. 108624.

Lincoln— Edward Michael Wood, age sixteen, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, medium build, very round shoulders, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, dark-grey eyes, thick nose, large horse-shoe-shaped scar on right elbow, scar on left forefinger; dressed in dark-grey tweed coat, vest, and trousers. His mother resides at 211 George Street, Dunedin. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 379.) He was licensed out from Burnham.

Outram. —Ist instant, from licensed service with Thomas Hamilton, Berwick, farmer, William Mead, age about twenty-two, height about 5 ft. 8 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes ; dressed in brown-tweed suit with green stripe, greenish-coloured soft hat, and tan boots. His mother resides at No. 8 York Place, Dunedin. He was licensed out from Buruham.
