MISSING.
Christchurch.— Since 28th ultimo, Thomas Baxter, age about fifty, height sft. Bin,, hawker, medium build, brown moustache only, about 8 st. weight; dressed in dark suit; addicted to drink. He was boarding with Mr. Bennett, and left his portmanteau and clothes behind on the above date, when he went for a bicycle ride, and has not been heard of since.
South Dunedin.— Since 25th ultimo, John William Cox, age seventeen, height about 5 ft. 4in., hairdresser, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, dark eyes, thin face ; usually wears brown coat, dark grey vest and trousers, light-grey cap with dark stripes. Inquiry by his father.
