(From Gazette, 1910, pages 3719 and 8726.) Sea-gulls may be hilled in the Southland Acclimatization District. ISLINGTON, Governor. IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, John Poynder DicksonPoynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from and after the date hereof sea-gulls shall cease to be within the operation of the said Act, within the Southland Acclimatization District, comprising so much of the County of Southland as lies to the westward of the Mataura River, together with the Counties of Fiord, Wallace, and Stewart Island ; excepting therefrom the Bluff Harbour District, the New River Harbour District, and the Riverton Harbour District. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten. D. BUDDO, Minister of Internal Affairs.
