APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— Charles McLean, wanted on warrant of commitment for a breach of the Auckland City By-laws : It has been ascertained by Sergeant Wohlmann, Auckland police, that offender is at present serving a sentence of six months in Sydney for vagrancy, and is not likely to return to New Zealand. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 333.)

Auckland. — William Lowe, default of fines, has been arrested by Constable Montgomery, Auckland police, and lodged in Auckland Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 325 and 315.)

Auckland.— George M. Foster, theft, has been arpested by Detectives Rawle and Cameron, Wellington police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 333.)

Auckland.— Edward Donnelly, disobeying maintentenance order, has been arrested by Detectives McMahon and Quartermain, Auckland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 345.)

Auckland.— James Huff, default of fine, has been arjfesbdby Con-tableLanigan, Papakura police, on information Supplied by Sergeant Wohlmann, Auckland police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page,3l4.)

Hamilton. — George Punt, breach of First Offenders’ Probation Act, is now working at Mangaweka, and has paid 10s., the last of his instalments. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 299 and 333.)

Whitianga. Cosmo Cecere, and Giovani Cesare are no longer wanted : Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 191.)

Napiek. William Henry Boardman, default cf re, has been arrested by Constable Martin, Otira police. iee Police Gazette, 1909, page 53.)

New Plymouth.— Herman Klug, ship-desertion, has been arrested by Detective T. Boddam and Constable Mclvor, New Plvmouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 314 and 326.)

New Plymouth.— Paul Ahrens, Hugo Steinbrugge, Gustave Suhr, and H. Heldt, deserters from the barque “Yiganella”: Warrants cancelled. (See Police Gazette 1910, pages 314, 326, and 334.)

Stratford.— John Smith, alias John Withers, a,lias Rutherford, forging and uttering, has been arrested by Constables J. Fitzpatrick and A. E. L ster, Marton police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 264.)

Waverley.— Rutherford, alias John Withers, alias Smith, forging and uttering, has been arrested by Constables J. Fitzpatrick and A. E. Lister, Marton police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 264.)

Christchurch. — Woman, name unknown (Minnie Pollock), wanted on warrants for false pretences on Strange and Go. and the Direct Importing Company, has been arrested by Detective R. Ward and Constable Clarkson, Christchurch and Rakaia police, and the property recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 286 and 326.)

Lincoln.— Robert Crarer, absconder from industrial school, has been arrested by Constables Liston and O’Neil, -New Plymouth police, and returned to the school. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 160.)

Lincoln. — William Roger Kells, absconder from indusjZal school, has been arrested by Constables Lister and llkEdlvor, New Plymouth police, and remanded to Auckland on a charge of house-breaking. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 159.)

Timaru. Duncan Alexander Calderwood, theft, fyas been arrested at Auckland under the name of George Alexander Gibb, on 2nd ultimo, for theft of a bicycle at (Hamilton, and sentenced to four months in Invercargill Prison.
