Auckland. — James Hunter, sly-grog selling, has bfgj* arrested by Constable Waugh, Auckland poliae. (See Police Gazette , 1910, page 115.)

Auckland. — Frank Christie, alias Emmerson, default of fine and costs: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 443.)

Napier.— Cluney Ashmore, failing to provide, has been arrested by Constable D. M. Maokenzie, Owaka police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 181.)

Napier.— Edward John Ritchie, theft, has been arrested by Constable F. Belcher, Pahiatua police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 167.)

Napier. — Henry Lorigan, default of arrears due on ■maintenance order : Warrant of distress executed on him by Constable R. Ryan, Napier police, and indorsed “No effects.” (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 158.)

£/Napier.- Ernest Matthews, theft, has been arrested ny the Timaru polioon information supplied by Constable G. Fraser, Temuka police, and sentenced to seven days’ hard labour. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 134.)

<l Taihape.— Bertram Barry Farley, breach of Probation Act, has been located at Dargaville by Constable 8. Thompson. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 2.)

s-Waihape.— -Harry Toon, theft, has been arrested by Detective D, Connolly, Gisborne police, on information supplied by Detective T. Quirke, Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 25.)

- Levin.— Albert Peterson, absconding from industrial iraining farm, has been arrested by Constable Gray, Hunterville police, on a charge of theft, and sentenced to fourteen days in Wanganui Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pag9 159 )

& Wellington.— Malcolm Edward Yause, deserter from H.M.S. “ Challenger,” has been arrested by Constable William Henry Rogers, Auckland police, and placed onboard H.M.S. “Piomer.” (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 125.)

-Wellington. — Percy Butler, default of maintenance, basbeen arrested by Constable Fearnley, Ongaonga police, on information supplied by Sergeant Haddrell, New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 2.)

u^^ellington.— Arthur McPherson, default of maintenance, has been traced by the Dunedin police, and warrant * of distress executed. Offender’s correct name is Arthur Chapman. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 344.)

-GEreymouth.— Herbert Bridge Thornton Shearman, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Detective E. Scott and Acting-Detective F. M. Cullen, Auckland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 135.)

.GifRisTCHURCH.— C. W. Ross, alias Trembath, forging and ucteriug, has been arrested by Detective E. Eade, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 135.) Offender is identical with John Trembath. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 117.)

Christchurch.— George Harris, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable P. Maloney, Akaroa police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 412.)

Lincoln.— Allan McDonald, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by Detective Fahey and Constable McLean, Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 160.)

Aroha.— Harry Herbert Bennett, theft, has been arre ted by Constable Boag, Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, i9lO, page 181.)

. -Temuka. —Michael Buckley, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by Constable John Bird, Blenheim police, on information supplied by Detective J. Kennedy, 'Christ,church police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 368.)

Dunedin. — William Summers, default of arrears for maintenance, has been located by Constable J. MeClinchy, Waimate police, and warrant of distress executed and indorsed “No effects.” (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 116.)

WW aitati.— George Harrhy, escapee, has been dis - charged from the Seacliff Mental Hospital. (See Police Gazette, ltiTO, page 135.)
