Rewards. Thames. — Constables W. Neill, No. 1227, and S. H. Bishop, No. 1402, have been awarded 10s. each for services in connection with the conviction of J. Bradley for supplying a Maori with liquor for consumption off the premises. (10/605.) Wellington. — Constable D. J. Hewitt, No. 1536, has been awarded £8 for the arrest of B. Blackmore, a deserter from H.M.S. “Challenger.” (10/2.) Wellington.— 'Constable W. J. Taylor, No. 1312, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of Joseph H. Chaney for failing to label liquor for a no-license district, and failing to notify the Clerk of the Court. (10/644.) Wellington.— Constable W. J. Taylor, No. 1312, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of Dante Gamonosi for taking liquor into a no-license district. (10/631.) Greymouth. —Sergeant E. Egan, No. 280, has been awarded £l, and Constable A. Stark, No. 1310, 10s., by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Yum Chong at Greymouth for having opium in his possession. (10/2.) Dunedin. —Detective A. A. Mitchell, No. 968, and ActingDetective J. N. Thomson, No. 925, have been awarded £3 15s. each by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Richard Wong Ah Tack at Dunedin for being in possession of opium. (10/2.) Invercargill. —Detective A. Cameron, No. 794, has been awarded 10s. by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Mondouca for smuggling. (10/374.)
