Quinn, No. 653, has been awarded £1 10s. for services in connection with the conviction of Owen Connolly for sending liquor into a nolicense district without notifying the Clerk of the Court. (09/2893.) Chbistchurch. —Constable W. J. Pardy, No. 486, has been awarded £9 for the arrest of three absentees from H.M.S. “ Pioneer” at Timaru. (09/65.) Christchurch.— Constable E. Bingham, No. 781, has been awarded £1 10s. for receiving an order for liquor in a no-license district. (09/2894.) Christchurch. —Constable C. Osborne, No. 985, has been awarded £2 2s. by the Post and Telegraph Department for services in obtaining convictions against two boys for breaking insulators at Temuka. (09/2876.) Dunedin. —Constable F. Macartney, No. 1165, has been awarded £3 for arresting W. Barlow, an absentee from H.M.S. “ Pioneer.” (10/2.) Dunedin.— Sergeant W. H. Higgins, No. 265, has been awarded £1 for services in connection with the conviction of Alfred Clements for ordering liquor for a no-license district without giving the name of the person for whom it was ordered.
