ABSCONDING FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHOOLS.
Auckland. — Joseph Feeney, age seventeen, height about 5 ft. 6in., native of New Zealand, thin build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, knock-kneed; usually dressed in dark-tweed suit with light stripe running
through it, soft blue shirt and cap ; untidy appearance. He absconded from licensed service with Mr. Montgomery, Manakau Road, Parnell, on 11th May last. Supposed to have gone to Eltbam, in company with a jockey named McMillan, about the end of July last. Arrest desired.
Lincoln.— Thomas Henry Apps, age fourteen, height 5 ft., fair hair and complexion, full round chubby face, broad nose, blue eyes. He absconded from Burnham Industrial School on the 24th September, 1906, and was seen in Wellington about July last. His parents reside at Petone. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 392.)
Lincoln. McLeneghan, farmer, Killinchy, Raymond Valentine Morris, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 4 in., farm labourer, good build, brown hair, fresh ruddy complexion, bright blue eyes, rather large ears. His mother resides in Queen’s Drive, Port Chalmers. Thomas Knight Archibald, age sixteen, height 5 ft. 4in., farm labourer, good build, fair complexion, slightly curly brown hair, blue eyes, turned-up nose, rather large ears, weak chin, speaks with a hoarse rasping voice, mentally deficient. Absconded 3rd instant. Angus McPherson, age fifteen, height 5 ft. 4 in., farm labourer, fair freckled oomplexion, light-brown hair, full round face, blue-grey eyes (wide apart), broad forehead. His mother resides at Ardgowao, Oamaru. Absconded 3rd instant. Arthur Reid, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 8 in., hotel porter and warehouseman, native of New Zealand, very sturdy build, fair hair, hazel eyes, large head, erect walk ; soldierly appearance. Absconded 9th ultimo.
