Rewards
Auckland. —Sergeant J. Ferguson, No. 691, has been awarded £5, Constable A. Maloney 7 , No. 1375, £3, and Sergeant J. Hanson, No. 354, £2, for services in connection with the conviction of Richard Fradatavich and Ellen Carroll for sly-grog selling. (09/1860.)
Auckland. —Constable J. Maher, No. 857, has been awarded £3 for services in connection with the conviction of Richard Jones and Henry Adams for keeping liquor for sale in a prohibited district. (09/1873.) Wanganui.—Constables J. Fitzpatrick, No. 885, and A. E. Lister, No. 1248, have been awarded £1 10s. each for services in connection with the conviction of J. Kelly for sly-grog selling at Marton. (09/1676.)
Wanganui. Constable F. Woods, No. 903, and M Sweeney, No. 1389, have been awarded £3 each by the Customs Department in connection with the conviction of Ly Sung, Wong Lee, and Young Lee for having opium in their possession. (09/65.) Christchurch.—Sergeant W. Fouhy, No. 380, has been awarded 10s., and Constable J. J. O’Grady, No. 1160, £l, for services in connection with the conviction of James Malcolmson for ordering liquor for a prohibited district without giving his name and address to the vendor. (09/1872.)
