Auckland.— 29th ultimo, from a paddock at Onehunga, the property of NORMAN MORRAN, auctioneer, a very dark-brown hack gelding, about six years old, about 15 hands high, tan muzzle, swelling on off fore knee; value, £l3. Identifiable.

Newmarket.— Between the 11th and 19th instant, from the bedroom of FLORENCE and AMELIA SYMS, Captain Cook Hotel, a sapphire and diamond ring, one diamond and two sapphires, with inscription “ F. S. Thames” on outside, value £5 ; a sapphire and diamond ring, three sapphires and two diamonds, value £6 ; an emerald and diamond ring, three emeralds set in diamond chippings, value £l4; a single sapphire ring, value £10; a diamond ring, five stones, value £7 ; one ditto, value £7 ; a sapphire and diamond ring, value £4 10s. ; a bracelet, composed of seven Jubilee sovereigns, value £l2 ; a cable bangle, with four Jubilee sovereigns and one American five-dollar piece suspended with gold padlock inscribed “A. Syms,” with safety-chains attached to each side of bracelet, value £l2 ; a fur boa with two fox-heads, one on each shoulder, ten tails, lined with fawn satin, about 7 ft. long, value £2 10s. Newmarket, the property of WALTER BREWIN, labourer, an open-faced silver keyless watch, black hands, plain back, value £1 ; a small-linked silver chain, value 155.; a gold shield - shaped medal, with wreath round the edge, with “Presented by A. Myers, Esq., to W. Brewin, Cox, 1902,” on the front, and “Trial Fours” and “ W.B. C.” on the back, value £1 10s. (identifiable); also 3s. 6d. in silver. The above property was taken from complainant’s clothing while he was playing football.

Napier.— Between 23rd and 25th ultimo, from the Tennyson Boardinghouse, the property of FREDERICK SIDNEY SPENCER, clerk, a gentlemen’s double-breasted sage-green overcoat, light-blue stripe running through it, side pockets ; value, £3 10s. Identifiable.

The coat was sold to Mrs. Tanner, a second-hand dealer, by a man who gave the name of Arthur Frambe (supposed fictitious), age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 7 in., fair hair and complexion, broad face, clean-shaved, slight defect in one or both eyes; well dressed, pointed toe boots.

Petone. —Between 10th ultimo and sth instant, from the boardinghouse of ALICE McCULLOUGH, a ladies’ marquise 18 ct. gold ring, set with fourteen pearls, and large pink cameo stone in centre which was loose; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Petone. —l4th instant, from the premises of F. BLAKE, a brown-leather brief-bag, pink lining, silver plate on one side with monogram “ T. B.” thereon, value 155., containing a pair of Derby tan boots, with new rubber heels, cork insoles, value £1 3s. Identifiable.

Wellington.— 22nd May last, from the dispensing-room of WILLIAM SALEK, chemist, Willis Street, a gentlemen’s very large old-fashioned open-faced gold Waterbury watch, stem winder, loud tick ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Rakaia. —l7th instant, from the railway-platform, the property of LILY MAUDE HEWITT, school-teacher, a ladies’ cane dress-basket, medium size, containing a darkblue skirt, a white blouse, a blue blouse, a white and paleblue blouse, a pale-green evening-dress, two white underskirts and sundry articles of underclothing, a pair of slippers (size 6), and a pair of goloshes, a hair brush and comb; a pair of scissors, handkerchiefs, letters, and two photographs; total value, £6. Glenavy. —l6th instant, from a trap in Glenavy school paddock, the property of ARTHUR PELVIN, farmer, Redcliff, a Kaiapoi woollen rug, brown on one side, and crossbars pattern on reverse side of red, green, brown, and white ; value, £2. Identifiable.

Oxford. —4th instant, from the bedroom of WILLIAM ARTHUR MITCHELL, farm hand, Oust Hotel, a navyblue cloth Chesterfield overcoat, size 4, black lining, one button missing, a hard black hat lined with white silk (size 6f), a white-silk handkerchief, total value about £4 ; and 16s. 9d. in money. Suspicion attached to Dan Mitchell , age twenty-four', height 5 ft. 6in., sailor and rouseabout, native of Scotland, slim build, dark-brown hair, clean-shaved, hair closely cut, horse-shoe and jockey’s head tattooed on one wrist.
