DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.
Auckland. — Albert Poole, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 6£in., A. 8., brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion. (See Police Gazette , 1909, page 38.) Offender was located at the Thames, and left there on the 2nd instant, and was last seen at Frankton Junction. He may obtain work about the district.
Sydney. — Yernon G. Whiteman, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 10 in., stoker, native of Christchurch, black hair, brown eyes, dark complexion. Deserted from H.M.S. “Pioneer” on 27th ultimo.
