Wellington.— Francis Charles Laird, age twenty, height 5 ft, 7^in., stoker, native of Australia, brown hair, grey eyes, fair complexion. Deserted H.M.S. “ Challenger,” 19th ultimo. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 503.) Aubery Harold Smith, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. in., stoker, native of Australia, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion. Deserted H.M.S. “Challenger,” 19th ultimo. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 503.) A reward of £3 will be paid for the arrest of each.
