APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

4 Auckland.— Albert Ernest Trail, disobeying an order of the Court, has been arrested by Constable J. T. Morris, Kerepehi police, and remanded to Auckland. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 483.)

Auckland.— Alfred Thomas O’Mera, disobeying fifiaintenance order, has been arrested by Sergeant Sheehan, Auckland police, and lodged in gaol. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 177.)

Auckland.— Leo Kilfoyle has now been discovered to die the name of the man found drowned in the Auckland Harbour on the sth November last. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 493.)

i Hamilton.— John Ross, alias James Ross, thef "from Ernest Philip Berlyn, has been arrested by Constables J. Lander and J. Fitzgerald, Te Awamutu and Kihikihi police, on information supplied by Detective Miller, and sentenced to twelve months’ probation. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 492.)

/ Waihi. — Urban Booth, alias Wilson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable C. O’Reilly, Opitiki police, on warrant issued at Auckland for wife-desertion, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 153.)

—William Fericker, wife-desertion, has been arrested by Constables J. Bagrie and M. Curtin, Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 189.)

/ Feilding. Alfred Wilson, alias Woods, alias Murphy, default of fine, has been arrested by Detective D. Connolly and Acting-Detective D. Cameron, Wellington police, and amount paid, (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 483.)

Dannevirke. — Beck Simpson, theft, has been arrested by Constables Tanner and Cooper, Pahiatua police, and the cornet recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 509.)

Petone. — Michael McAuliffe, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable W. D. Davidson, Greymouth police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 318.)

(/Wellington. David Quinn, obscene language and assault, has been arrested by Constable Mackintosh, Stratford police, and lodged in New Plymouth Gaol. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 502.)

; Wellington. — Frederick Scoble has been found by Cmstable J. Thomson at Wanganui, and has promised to write to his wife. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 485.)

Wellington. Walter Turner, assault, has been arrested by Constable W. J. Taylor, Wellington South police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 246.)

Wellington.— Bert Harry Howden Caulton, warrant of distress executed by Constable F. Woods, Foxton police, and returned “No effects.” He is employed at a flax-mill at Foxton, and is now going under tne name of Albert Turner. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 502.)

Blenheim. — James Duncan, theft, has been arrested by Constable Curtin, Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 192.)

(/Lyttelton. John William Morris, alias Kidd, alias Kiddell, has been arrested by Constable C. Osborne, Raikaia police, and Acting-Detective Ward, Christchurch police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 484.)

Christchurch.— John Cahill, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable James O’Hallaran, Taradale police, on information supplied by the Christohurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 510.)

Lincoln. Arthur Francis Summers has been arrested by Constable G. B. Edwards, Dunedin police, and returned to Burnham Sohool. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 441.)

Akaroa. — Edward Truscott has been found by Constable John A. Dempsey, Dunedin police, and notice of fine served on him. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 296 )

Waitati. — Walter Palmer is now discharged from the! Seacliff Mental Hospital. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 502.)

Melbourne. Alfred C. Jones, deserting H.M.S. “ Psyche,” has been arrested. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 247.)

Sydney. — Frank Moran, theft from the Hotel Mansion, has been arrested by the Sydney police, and the stolen property recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1908, pages 498 and 504.)
