Mercer. —Arthur Glass’s horses have been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette , 1908, page 502.)

Upper Hutt.— HENRY WILTON’S property has been recovered, except the two sovereigns, and Milford Burgess, alias John Williams, arrested for the offence by the Sydney police on information supplied by Detective W. Lewis and Acting-Detective Andrews, Wellington police. (See New South Wales Police Gazette , 1905, page 217, and 1907, page 330, and New Zealand Police Gazette , 1908, page 473.) Offender has been extradited, and committed for trial to the next sittings of the Supreme Court, Wellington.
