PROPERTY RECOVERED.

Mercer. —Arthur Glass’s horses have been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette , 1908, page 502.)

Upper Hutt.— HENRY WILTON’S property has been recovered, except the two sovereigns, and Milford Burgess, alias John Williams, arrested for the offence by the Sydney police on information supplied by Detective W. Lewis and Acting-Detective Andrews, Wellington police. (See New South Wales Police Gazette , 1905, page 217, and 1907, page 330, and New Zealand Police Gazette , 1908, page 473.) Offender has been extradited, and committed for trial to the next sittings of the Supreme Court, Wellington.

Lower Hutt.— PERCY H. STACEY’S property has been recovered, except the safety-razor, jewel-case, sovereign-case and money, and Milford Burgess, alias John Williams, committed for trial for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 452, and preceding paragraph.)

Wellington.— PATßlCK MORAN’S property has been recovered, except the razor and money, and Milford Burgess, alias John Williams, committed for sentence for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 473, and preceding paragraphs.)

Wellington. —ATHOL WATERS’S property has been recovered, except the five-shilling piece and bottle of whisky, and Milford Burgess, alias John Williams, committed for trial for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 473, and preceding paragraphs.)

Wellington.— THOMAS BRYANT’S property has been recovered, except the rolled-gold granny chain and goldmounted greenstone pendant and money. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 413, and preceding paragraphs.)

Wellington. —FßANClS HENRY COATE’S property has been recovered, except the ladies’ gold ring (broken), the ladies’ gold ring set with greenstone, the heavy gold bangle, and money. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 412, and preceding paragraphs.)

Wellington South. WILLIAM WILSON’S property has been recovered, except the gold muff-chain and gold curb bangle with padlook attached. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 473, and preceding paragraphs.)
