PROPERTY STOLEN.

Eden Terrace (Auckland). —Between Ist and 7th ultimo, from the dwelling of GEORGE BARTLETT, labourer, an 18 ct. gold curb chain, bar connected to chain by silver link, has a small gold heart attaohed ; value, £9. Identifiable.

Gisborne. KENNEDY PASLEY, accountant, Aberdeen Road, a set of single buggy-harness, English make, silver-mounted, lightbrown leather reins, cheek-straps slightly curled through being knocked, the hames are rather worn at rings, one reinring stands out further than the other ; value, £B. Identifiable.

Waipukurau. —Between the 22nd and 25th October last, from the dwelling of PATRICK BROPHY, a cheque on the Bank of New Zealand, No. 53222, for £l2 Is. 6d., drawn by J. T. Brophy in favour of P. Brophy; a ladies’ 18 ct. gold ring, set with three diamonds and two sapphires, square on top and massive, thin underneath, value £8; a brownleather pouch, has been recently hand-stitched.

Hawera.—l9th ultimo, from the bar parlour of the Commercial Hotel, property of HENRY HEADLAND, commercial traveller, four Waterman fountain - pens, two Swan fountain-pens, and a small round box containing a bottle of Swan fountain ink ; value, £6.

Palmerston North. —About 6th ultimo, from the Drill Hall, Main Street, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT, a Lee-Metford rifle, No. 3463; value, £4 10s. Johnsonville. —Between 21st and 23rd ultimo, from a building in course of erection at Paparangi, property of ARTHUR SCOTT, carpenter, a nearly new canvas kit, blue lining, leather handles, containing a wood plane, an iron plane branded “ Arthur Scott,” a brace and bundle of bits in a leather bag, two rip-saws, ten chisels (different sizes), a putty-knife, and a small axe; also a nearly new canvas kit, rope handles, containing two planes branded “ E. Walsh,” an iron plane, a brace and bits, a 12 in. square, a hammer, and a level: total value, £l7. Identifiable, except bits.

Mount Cook. —9th ultimo, from ERNEST WILMAN, labourer, whilst under the influence of liquor, a gentlemen’s silver hunting lever watch, No. 837292, a silver curb chain with a three-cornered silver pendant, a silver axe, whip, and spur attached; total value, £4. Identifiable.

Blenheim. —14th ultimo, from the buggy of JEREMIAH O’DONOGHUE, a parcel containing a ladies’ navy-blue three-quarter serge coat and skirt, plain sleeves, no trimmings, smoked-pearl buttons; an old cream-muslin dress (soiled), with short sleeves, blouse had a lace yoke, narrow satin ribbon; a cashmere blouse, lace collar-band, and tucked yoke; some fancy-work patterns; a green belt; a small photo of a dark curly-haired child; a ladies’ overcoat (about 54 in.), rough navy-blue serge, trimmed with blacksilk braid, full coat-sleeves with turned-back cuffs, purchased from Mansell and Sons, Bull’s, Rangitikei—value £3: also a small American portmanteau ; total value, £5. Identifiable.

Christchurch. — 9fch ultimo, from Cashel Street, property of FRANCIS J. McDONALD, salesman, c/o Beath and Co. a gentlemen’s black-enamelled bicycle, made by E. H., Tankard, 22 in. frame, front-rim brake, Palmer rims, Dunlop tires, rubber pedals (one missing), free wheel; value, £7. Identifiable.

Christchurch. sheds, Falsgrave Street, property of GEORGE REESE, tram-guard, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Bell bicycle, No. 1136, 22 in. frame, plated rims, rat-trap pedals, Reynolds chain, Dunlop tires, odd grips; value, £B. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —31st October last, from Colombo Street, property of ROBERT CRIGHLINGTON 324, Oxford Terrace, a gentlemen’s English Edie bicycle, black-enamelled, with green lines, No. 22755, 22 in. frame, free wheel, two brakes, Royal saddle ; value, £l2. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —31st October last, from the yard of the United Service Hotel, Hereford Street, property of JOHN JACKSON, c/o Priestnall, High Street, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled Bell bicycle, No. 1248, rat-trap pedals, reversible handle-bars, Dunlop tires ; value, £2O. Identifiable.

Complainant was a passenger by the s.s. “Marama” from Melbourne to Christchurch, and while ashore at Hobart, the above property was stolen.
