APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. —May Pulley, has been found by Sergeant Simpson, Auckland police, and the necessary information obtained. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 365.)

Auckland.— A. Scott, alias Lincoln Turner, theft, has been arrested by Constable H. Cox and Native Constable J. Beayley, Rawene police, on information supplied by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1908, pages 250 and 401.)

Waitara.— James Burns, false pretences, has been arrested by Constable B. O’Brien, Waverley police, on information received from the Waitara police, and ordered to come up for sentence when called on, to refund £2 95., and to pay costs within a week. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 337.)

Taumarunui. — Stephen Hayes, default of fine: Warrant executed by Constable Woods, Foxton police, and fine and costs paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 440.)

Levin. — John Simpson has been returned to the Weraroa Training School. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 463.)

Wellington. —C. Anderson, theft, has been arrested by Constable E. McKelvey, Clyde Quay police, and fined £2 or fourteen days’ hard labour, and to refund £5 17s. Bd., amount of goods stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 326.)

Christchurch. — Thomas Keating, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable H. McMahon, Christchurch police, and lodged in Lyttelton Gaol. (See Police Gazette , 1908, page 308.)

Timaru. — George W. Bates and Sydney B. R. Stringfellow, deserting H.M.S. “ Pioneer,” have Deen arrested by Detective Fitzgerald and Constable Doak, Timaru and Oamaru police, and put on board at Port Chalmers. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 503.)
