Ponsonby. —Since 14th April last, Ronald Edward Morrison, age thirty-one, height 5 ft. 6 in., cook, native of New Zealand, medium build, black curly hair, fair complexion and moustache, blue eyes, scar on left forehead running back to his hair, large scar on inside of right knee causing him sometimes to limp. He left his home to work at the Masonic Hotel, Napier, about the middle of February last. He then went to Palmerston North, and was last heard of on above date near Stratford, where he was employed as cook at a contractor’s camp. Inquiry by his wife.

Fears are entertained for his safety, as he( appeared strange in his manner.
