Hastings. —-9th March last, on warrant for failing to provide for the maintenance of his wife and children, Francis Schdroski, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 8 in., butcher and labourer, na tyre* of Ausi/ralia, medium build, upright active carriage, dark-brown' hair arid! brown moustache, sunburnt complexion, brcjwri eyes, aquiline nose; generally wears dark suit ted hard black hat. Is an athlete, and may be found on sports-grounds or at race-meetings. He was seen at Inglewood on the 7th instant, and was then clean-shaved, and dressed in greyish suit and dark-grey tweed cap. Timaru.— 6th ultimo, on warrant for failing to provide for the maintenance of his illegitimate child, Alfred Gilbert, age about twenty-three, height 5 ft. Bin., an ex railway clerk, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, clean-shaved, dark-brown curly hair; dresses well; fond of drink. Has friends at Little River and at Dannevirke.
