APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. —Frederick Hennessey, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable Bradley, Auckland police, and amount due paid. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 321.)

Gisborne. —Henry William Hird, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable J. O’Halloran, Taradale police, and part of th/arrears paid. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 127.)

Wellington. —Ernest Gecjrge Price, deserter from H.M.S. “ Encounter,” surrendered himself to the Nelson police. (See Police Gazette, 1907, jiages 201 and 219.) Wellington. —Archibald Jph# Dunn, absentee from the s.s. “ Athenic ” has been by Constable Tonkin, Nelson police. (See Police GazeUe, 1908, page 28.)

Blenheim.— Robert Johnston Gray, false pretences, has been arrested by Acting-Detective W. Lewis, Wellington police, on information supplied by Detective T. Quirke, Palmerston North police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 189.) '

Christchurch. John Henry Preston, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable W. Shepherd, Methven police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 50.)
