Auckland. 22nd January last, from the dwelling of GEORGE BRAOEWELL. a gentlemen’s silver hunting Waltham watch, No. 12495239 ; a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold snake-pattern close-link chain, with bar and drop piece; gold watch-key, and gold seal sot with pink stone attached : total value, MG 10s. Auckland.— l7th November last, from ALEXANDER HATEELD, settler, a gentlemen’s gold scarf-pin, 4 in. long, set with large red carbuncle ; value, £l. Identifiable. Theft from the person.
Hamilton.— 2oth ultimo, from the bedroom of ALBERT TAPP, Commercial Hotel, a Jubiles half-sovereign, 1887, with small dent in the head; also from the bedroom cf JAMBS NICO.L, two William and Mary fourpenny pieces, large “ 4 ” on face of each piece.
Waikino. —7th ultimo, from the dwelling of JAMBS DRUMMOND, plumber, a gentlemen’s silver-lever Geneva keyless hunting-watch, small dent on outer edge, slight dark mark in dent, a white-metal guard with blue-ribbon army medal attached (“T.0.” cut through medal), value £2 ss. ; and three half-sovereigns. Breaking and entering.
Tolaga Bay. —l7th or 18th ultimo, from a paddock, property of GEORGE SMITH, contractor, a bay gelding, aged, about 16 hands high, brown points, branded “PP” on off rump, slight deformity on off hind hock, heavy-boned, long tail and mane ; value, £ls. Identifiable.
Eketahuna. —20th or 21st January last, from a paddock, property of PERCY RYAN, drover, Pahiatua, a flea bitten hack gelding, aged, about 15| hands high, high wither, switch tail, very heavy mane, newly shod ; value, £7. Identifiable.
Rongotea.— lst ultimo, from JAMES A. PERSSON, cycle agent, a gentlemen’s free-wheel bicycle, No. 3075, Brooks saddle, high frame, black-enamelled with lines, upturned handles, grips broken, “ Specially built for E. Reynolds& Co., New Zealand,” tn front of frame; value, £B. Identifiable. The bicycle was stolen from outside complainant’s shopdoor.

Wellington South.— Between 12th and 15th ultimo, from Kensington Private Hotel, property of GEORGE CADE, a gentleman’s Eadie bicycle, No. 54440, roller chain, Brooks saddle, a patch on front tire, right ferrule of handgrip missing; value, £6. Christchurch. 22nd January last, from the Hospital Grounds, property of WILLIAM WHITING, a gentlemen’s 22 in. Bell bicycle, No. 1201, outrigger handles, Dunlop tires, Westwood rims ; value, £2l. Identifiable.
Christchurch.— 7th ultimo, from Gloucester Street, pro party of GEORGE NIYEN, labourer, a gentlemen’s Hudson bicycle, No. 68872, sprocket-wheel a little bent; value, £lO. Identifiable.
Lyttelton. — 26th ultimo, from the dwelling of DAVID GRUBB, Jackson’s Road, two sovereigns; 10s. in silver; a number of foreign coins, value £1; a half spade-guinea, date 1760; a silver bunting lever watch, No. 47630, maker Coates and Co., Christchurch, “ D. Grubb” engraved on back; a rolled-gold cable-pattern chain ; an open-faced lever watch, “ Blain Bros., Hastings,” on dial; a silver chain : total value, £l6 10s. The watches and chains were pledged at Phillips’s pawn-office by a man who gave the name of B. Gilbert (probably fictitious), age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., supposed colonial, medium build, brown hair, pale complexion ; dressed in grey suit and cap. Invercargill.— 2oth ; January last, from the Central Boardinghouse, property of W. MARTIN, a gentlemen’s Monopole free-wheel bicycle; No. 10068, Bowden brake, reversible handle-bars, wbitb grips, double forks, top bar oval instead of round, pump*, oil-lamp, and tool-bag attached; value, £lO. Identifiable.
Bluee. —Bth January last, at the Bluff or Ocean Beach, property of Miss DAVIDSON, a ladies’ gold hunting lever watch, No. 6143, maker Elavell Bros., Roman figures, white dial, black hands, a small “C.D.” on front cover, flowery pattern on both cases ; value, about £52. (08/464.)
