INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Queensland. —Inquiry requested for William George Carter, age about thirty-two, medium height, labourer, dark" hair and eyes, rather fresh complexion; right thumb and first two fingers off at first joint, and third finger flattened through an accident. On the 24th July, 1905, he left Lismore for Sydney, with the intention of coming to New Zealand. Inquiry by his mother, who is anxious to hear from him. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 52.) (08/180.)
