Epsom.— Between 17th and 21st ultimo, from the bedroom of MAUD ALICE BOSWORTH, Kimberley Road, an 18 ct. gold ring with three diamonds in square setting, “ M.A.H.” scratched on inside of ring ; value, £B. Identifiable.
Wellington. —llth or 12th ultimo, from JAMES O’DEA, architect, a gentlemen’s gold hunting-watch, No. 48679, and a 9 ct. gold curb albert chain; value, £l9 10s. Theft from the person.
Havelock. —7th or Bth ultimo, from CHARLES HANSEN, fisherman, five flounder-nets, all joined together, about 330 fathoms long, 5-| in. mesh ; net about 36 in. wide, of tanned crochet-cotton; had attached lead sinkers and cork floats ; value, £l9. Identifiable. Suspicion attached to Percy Neame, fisherman, Mahau, Pelorus Sound.
Christchurch. — 26th April last, a silver chain, snake pattern, with greenstone pendant; a gold pin, sword pattern, “ From Jack to Olive ” stamped thereon; a gold brooch, and a number of foreign coins, property of GEORGE BRUNTON; value, £7: two large rings, one with a red stone in centre, “ Jones & Son ” stamped inside one of them (9 ct. gold), property of FREDERICK NEITH; value, £1 each: a gold medal, “E. Boocock ” stamped on it; a silver chain; a gold tie-pin with greenstone bell, property of E. BOOCOCK; value, £2 Iss. Identifiable. Breaking and entering hut of complainants at Richmond.
Coalgate.— 6th ultimo, from JOHN BUCKMAN, labourer, a metal open-faced Waterbury watch, “ Trump ” on inside plate; a small penknife with brown-horn handle, silver plate on side; value, 19s. 6d. Suspicion attached to Edward Myer Myers, age twenty - nine, height 5 ft. 4£ in., tailor and labourer, native of England, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, large nose.
Dunedin. —9th instant, from the shop of EDWARD FLYNN, second-hand dealer, a dark-tweed overcoat with white thread running through the material; value, £l. Suspicion attached to a man, name unknown, age thirty, height 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, very dark complexion, dark moustache only; dressed in dark clothes and black hard hat.
Dunedin. —llth ultimo, from a railway-carriage, property of SAMUEL ISAACS, a dark-blue heaver overcoat, with velvet
collar, lined with tartan, and striped satin, brass chain tab. The pockets of coat contained a spotted muffler and a pair of tan-kid gloves 1 value* £2. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —Between 10th and 13th April last, from a trunk in transit by rail from Christchurch to Dunedin, property of ALEXANDER PALMER, ex-hoteikeeper, two gold brooches, pattern two golf-clUbs joined together, about 2 in; long, each set with ten diamonds ; value, £7O. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —On or about 4th ultimo, from the dwelling of ALEXANDER SLIGO, Union Street, a well-worn gold band ring, “ Martha Read, 1894 ”on inside; a small dress ring set with a ruby and two or three pearls ; value, £1 each. Identifiable.
