MISSING.
Gisborne. —Since 12th ultimo, John McKane, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 7 in., farmer, native of Canada, medium build, brown sunburnt complexion, brown bair, clean-shaved; generally dressed in dark-blue suit and black hard - felt hat; respectable appearance, qui t demeanour, served in South Africa with the Canadian Contingent. He arrived in Gisborne in December, 1905, and had a letter of introduction from Mark Harrison, Waikato. Fears are now entertained for his safety. Inquiry by J. A. Harding, licensee, Masonic Hotel, Gisborne.
Cape Town. —Inquiry requested for Donald A. Tuck, who deserted his wife and two children in Cape Town in March last, age about thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 10 in., clerk, native of Bromley, London, slight build, dark hair and eyes, long face, sallow complexion. Was employed at Baroona, New South Wales, up to December last, when he is said to have left for New Zealand. (06/350.)
