APPREHENSIONS AND PERSONS FOUND.

Auckland. Sydney Campbell Kitt, forgery and uttering on William Richard Parkinson, has been arrested by Detective W. A. Bailey and Acting-Detective J. W. Hollis, Auckland police, and committed for sentence. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 105.)

Auckland. William James Cornish, failing to maintain his wife : warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 185.)

Surrey Hills (Auckland). Robert Carr, for indecently assaulting Agnes Taylor, has been arrested by Constable A. McDonnell, Whangarei police, on information supplied by Constable G. Macartney, of Auckland, and re-, manded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 169.)

Paeroa.— Keo Witika, alias Faro Naro, theft of a horse, saddle, and bridle, has been arrested by Constable J. Rock, Huntly police, on information supplied by Constable T. Whelan, Paeroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 185.)

Hastings.— Mabel Sims, theft of a bicycle, the property of Herbert Christian, has been arrested by Constable J. Riordan, Taradale police, on information supplied by ActingDetective J. A. Raynes, Napier police. Bicycle recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 177.)

New Plymouth. — Charles Haskell, failure to provide for his illegitimate child, has been arrested by Constable W. J. Butler, Ormondville police, on information supplied by Sergeant A. Cruickshank, Dannevirke polioe. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 73.)

Martinborough. — Joseph Keen, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable A. Hammond, Featherston police, and lodged in Welliugton Gaol. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 125.)

Wellington. Frank Henderson, absconding from licensed service, has returned to the Stoke Industrial School. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 172.)

Nelson. — Allister Harry Hunt, failing to make provision for the maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child : warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 134.)

Christchurch.— Joseph E. Orr, theft from Herbert Richard Searle, has been arrested by Detective F. S. Cox, Christchurch police, and sentenced to three months’ probation. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 185.)

Invercargill. Robert McPherson, failing to provide for the maintenance of his illegitimate children, has surrendered to Sergeant J. Fleming, at Invercargill. (See Police Gazette, 1905, age 170.)
