Freeman’s Bay (Auckland)— 2lst ultimo, from the shop of WILLIAM COLLINS, baker, during a fire, a small leather bag containing £1 10s. in silver and copper; six small whitehandled table-knives, value 6s. A greenstone brooch with gold band on each end and middle, and a square gold locket, ruby in centre and “ W. Collins” engraved on back, value £3 55., are also missing, but may have been destroyed in the fire. Bag and jewellery identifiable.

Te Aeoha. —During March last, from Waihou, the property of MARGARET HYDE, a white steer, aged two years, value £3 10s. ; a yellow-roan heifer, aged two years and a half, value £5; a red-roan heifer, aged two years and a half, near to calving, value £5; two red heifers, aged eighteen months, tufts at end of tails nearly all missing; value £5. All branded “ W.H. ” under half-circle, on rump. Identifiable.

Mabton. —24th ultimo, from the railway goods-shed, the property of the RAILWAY DEPARTMENT, a box containing 281 b. of Havelock tobacco, branded “J.M.N.” over “M.”; value, £7 14s. Identifiable by brands on box only. Suspicion attached to Alexander Hill, a carrier, residing at Mar ton.

Shannon. —Between 17th and 26th ultimo, the property of SAMUEL WILLIAM CARTER, butcher, eleven black Tamworch sucking-pigs, three months old, value £5. Identifiable.

Wellington.-— 24th February last, from a right-of-way, the property of the COLONIAL CARRYING COMPANY,'a gentlemen’s Dayton bicycle, black enamelled, no brake, roller chain, gear about 60, Leader saddle ; value, £7. Identifiable.
