Christchurch. —4th or sth instant, from an open shed at Chaney's Corner, the property of EDWARD MALLIGAN, labourer, a white blanket, a red quilt, a grey-tweed coat, a blue-serge vest, a pair of overalls torn at bottom, a pillow and white pillow-slip, a blue-serge cap with hole in top, a book entitled “ A Fight for a Million ” ; value, £2. Geraldine. —Between 18th ultimo and Ist instant, from a paddock, the property of EDWARD BURKE, farmer, Hilton, thirty suorn English Leicester rams, branded “3 BO” on side or rump, square piece out of right ear; value, £9O. Identifiable.

Suspicion attached to man, name unknown, age about twenty-six, height about sft. 4in., medium build, fair complexion and moustache; thought to be wearing a light-coloured suit, coat much too large for him.
