APPREHENSIONS AND PERSONS FOUND.

Auckland. — Alfred Douglas Glass, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by Constable M. J. Curtin, Auckland police, and lodged in Mount Eden Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 97.)

Newton (Auckland). Ernest Towers, forgery and uttering on W. G. Hutchinson, has been arrested by ActingDetective T. E. De Norville and Constable P. j. Blake, Thames police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 97.)

Aratapu. — William Yarley, breaking and entering the dwelling of George Dreaden, has been arrested by Constable J. Cahill, Hikurangi police, and remanded. He was going under the name of McPherson. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 1.)

Dargaville. — William Varley, breaking and entering the premises of George Gugich, has been arrested by Constable J. Cahill, Hikurangi police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 65, and preceding paragraph.)

Panmure. — Percy Shanaghan, breaking and entering the dwelling of Quong Lee, has been arrested by ActingDetectives J. W. Hollis and A. Shine, Auckland police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 27.)

Opotiki. — Thomas O’Reilly, failing to provide for illegitimate child, has been arrested by Constable H. C. Carmody, Hastings police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 81.)

Wanganui.— Norman George Ebbutt, or Ibbutt, wife and child desertion, has been arrested by Constables P. Duddy and C. A. Clarke, Inglewood and Hawera police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 249.)

Masterton.— John McLeod, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable H. H. Hancox, Gisborne police. Pine paid. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 160.)

Christchurch. Edward Richard Black, alias James Wilson, breaking and entering the premises of Robert Wallace, has been arrested by Detective L. D. Benjamin, New Plymouth police, and committed for sentence for housebreaking at Hawera. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 81.)

Sumner.— Edward Richard Black, alias James Wilson, breaking and entering the dwelling of Theodore De Thier, has been arrested by Detective L. D. Benjamin, New Plymouth police, and committed for sentence for housebreaking at Hawera. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 82.)

Ashburton. John Macdonald, disobeying a maintenance order, has been arrested by Constable H. Beattie, Waitara police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 76.)

Geraldine.— Hugh Blain Scott, disobeying order of Court, has been arrested by Constables A. A. Potter and C. A. Clarke, Hawera police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 57.)

Temuka — Herbert Livingstone, violent behaviour in a railway-carriage, has been arrested by Constable T. Barrett, Waimate police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 90.)

Dunedin. William Wilson Henry Cahill, inquired for with a view of compelling him to support his illegitimate children, has been served with a summons at Wellington by Constable A. E. Andrews, Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 73.)

Port Chalmers. Ernest John De Laney and Sydney Arthur Spooner, deserters from H.M.S. “Phoebe,” have been arrested by Constable Sheary, Martinborough police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 91.)
