--“..•ooo*: Sydney.— lnquiries requested as to the whereabouts of Augustus Mason, age about thirty-three, height 6 ft,, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes ; was at one time clerk in the Road Department, but went to sea as an A.B. on the barque “ Darra,” and was seen in Wellington, New Zealand, about two years ago, when he said he was second officer on a barque then in port. Bathurst. —A warrant has been issued by the Bathurst Bench for the arrest of .Louis Hahn, charged with disobeying a magisterial order for the support of his wife, Margaret Hahn. He is about forty-three years of age, 5 ft. 5 in. or 6 in. high, fresh complexion, full round face, stout build, dark hair, beard and moustache turning grey but dyed black ; dressed in dark sac suit and soft black-felt hat; a cab-driver. Supposed to have come to New Zealand. If found, to be requested to make provision for his wife, who is destitute. Arrest not desired in New Zealand. England.— lnquiry requested as to the whereabouts of Abigail Nancy Taylor, who came to the colony about thirty-eight years ago from Brighton, Sussex. She was of rather stout build, and would now be about fifty eight years of age ; was last heard of from Otago in 1873 or 1875. She was accompanied to New Zealand by a young man named Upton, whom she may have married. Inquiry by her brother in-law, John Harman, 75, Stewart’s Road, Battersea, London. (04/2257.)
