Rewards
Acting-Detective F. S. Cox, No. 714, Wellington police, has been awarded £5 by the Customs Department for services in connection with the conviction of Kim Lee for having opium in his possession, and £llos. in connection with the conviction of Choo Poye for a similar offence. (03/51.) Sergeant Darby, No. 195, has been awarded £2 10s., and Constables J. Butler, No. 883, and J. S. Reid No. 975, Thames police, £2 each, for services in connection with the conviction of Joseph Hayes for sly-grog selling. (03/1407.) Detective W. B. Mcllveney, No. 667, has been awarded £3, and Constables D. Bogue, No. 332, and J. Powell, No. 1081, £2 each, for services in connection with the conviction of C. Humphries for sly-grog selling.
